colored pencil, india ink and silver leaf on hymn sheet taken from an old hymnal "Glorious Refrain" and authored by James D Vaughan (1864-1942) in 1914.  James David Vaughan was a composer, writer of over 500 songs, publisher, and compiler of gospel songs.  He was inducted posthumously into the "Gospel Music Hall of Fame" in 1972.
